I've had a lot of questions asking if an electric guitar and an acoustical guitar were played the same way. Yes, they are
tuned the same and the chords are made the same way. The difference is one requires an amplifier and the other doesn't.
If you want to play lead guitar, it's better to use the electric. Unless you are playing bluegrass.
